Dynamics AX Project Manager - to £75,000 + car allowance + great package of benefits - based near Manchester.
This will be one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics AX projects in the UK, a £1.5 million multiple site implementation for a well known, on line multi-channel retailer, expected to take 18 months. This is a new project win and an opportunity for a Microsoft Dynamics AX Project Manager to take it through from start to finish.
The client is a very successful international Microsoft Dynamics AX Gold Partner, who are a leading provider of Dynamics AX solutions to the mid market retail and consumer goods industries. They offer advanced, industry specific functionality built on the latest technologies from Microsoft. They have doubled in size in the UK within the last 9 months and are set to double again by April 2009.
This will be a complex and challenging Dynamics AX project, working with the latest version (AX 2009), based near Manchester. We are looking for a Project Manager with proven consulting experience on large Dynamics AX Projects (£750,000+) to take the lead role in delivery of the project.
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the billable consulting team, managing the full life cycle of the project from the design phase, through creating and managing the development of implementation plans, through to execution.
You will provide the primary point of contact between the client, the consultancy, and all team members involved with the project. You should demonstrate:
- A minimum of five years of experience implementing ERP software solutions
- At least 2 years in a Project Management role with mid to large scale Dynamics AX / Axapta projects, within a consultancy
- AX certifications, and/or Project Management methodologies
- The ability to understand, communicate, and interpret client business processes and requirements
- First class communication, facilitation, negotiation, conflict management, problem resolution, and change management skills
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to bring Dynamics AX projects/initiatives to completion, on time and within budget
- The ability to take ultimate responsibility for the success of the project and for assuring the quality of the solution delivered to the client
