Well I'm still working on my CRM environment.
And CRM also seams to have more issues. Whereas you in NAV have many companies in one database, then this is not possible in CRM (so I have been told).
But I'm looking to create a setup where we have one NAV database with several companies. Each of these companies need their own CRM.
My question is now, how many physical servers do I need?
I know I need a SQL Server to run my NAV database. But can I have all CRM databases on the same server? (They are not heavily used) Or do I need one SQL Server per CRM database?
Also is there anyway that I can run more than one CRM server application on one physical server? Or do I need a separate physical server per CRM application?

You can have multiple DB on the same SQL Instance and also different instances.
The current CRM 3.0 limitation is related to CRM frontend because we don't support the multi-tenant configuration. For this reason you need to have one server for each CRM Application Server.
Kee in mind that the CRM App Server on a virtualized environment is not supported and for this reason you should have different physical front-end servers.
