Just one option, I don't need to know how many people are NOT interested, I just want a count of how many people would be interested in meeting up.
Baasically there is a lot of work to organize these meetings, and I really don't want to get the whole thing moving if thre is not enough interest.
If interest is low, then I will suggest that instead of three large MBSOffline meetings, that insted those of s that are interested will just get together informally.
So if you are interested, and woudl be able to attend one of the three meeting, please let us know.

I think that it could be an exiting opportunity to finally put a face to the entries -
But I guess that I also would be depending on what kind of setup are going to be in place - workshops / sessions etc.

IN my first post
http://www.mbsonline.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15941
I sort of hinted as to the concept, but I didn't want to put all my ideas down, until otheres had a chance to make suggestions, which not many people actually did.
So far I have a few replies here, and a hand full of emails.
BUT I wanted to find ot really if people are interested, and the numbers need to be there before it is worth starting the organization aspects.

[:(] well about 170 people have logged into the site since I posted this, and only 10 of them interested to meet up. Not a good sign.

The problem with these meetings is logistics. Travel can be a major expense to small companies. Granted the benefits of going should outweigh the cost.
But the problem for meeting logistics from your side is, 2 or 3 smaller meetings will have less attendance each, while you have to do it 2 or 3 times, and thus drive up the cost.
MY suggestion is to have it moving from east coast, to middle, to west coast in diffrent years. The regional guys can do regional meetings in between, if they want.
And there is merit in NOT having it in Hawaii...cuz then the managers would go rather than the people who really need to go.
What you also want is functional and technical Navision people there to give presentations and to receive customer feedback. BTW, to be good, the presentations need to be by people who really understand what they are talking about, not the sales guys.
You need tracks by functional areas so for example the accountants won't be sitting around waiting for the technical session to be over, and visa versa.
gud luk

Hi David.
I would like to support this idea and will hopefully be able to attend (although I am getting married soon!)
Hope to see you all soon.

David,
If you have 100 people who would like to meet then I am able to assist with a large but inexpensive London Venue, discounted hotels and discounted flights to London.
Having held a couple of more informal meetings which have included speakers from both Microsoft and outside the channel these could also be provided.
If you want any more assistance I would be only to glad to help.
