Set the "Qty of Work Centres" field on teh routing to the number you require.

I guess you have two different work centers performing the same operation... You can use Route Network to handle this.

- Activate Route Network in Parameters of Production, which is considered as the "Bottle neck" work center.

- Create 2 operation lines in your Route, 1 primary and 1 secondary.

This will allow you to handle different cost prices of those 2 work centers when you do costing of your prod order as well.

Hope this help.

Hi,

To follow up on Khue's suggestion which is correct, the only drawback about using a secondary operation is that the time for the operation will be 'greyed' out and dependent on the primary operation. Normally, this doesn't pose a problem to users but I thought I'd point it out.

Cheers

Hi,

I would propose to generate one new workcentre which will have combinations of the machines/unites you are going to use for your purpose.
