When I supply Item search name in item id field in sales line it is not giving me item id related to that particular item search name. Whereas same functionality
runs fine in Item Movement Journal, Production, Purchase order lines. What could be the problem?

I dont know, what you means.
But, when I put Item search name in item id field in Sales line, it gives me item id related to that particular item search name.
Check, whether is there any customization on Sales Order form.

Yes. I supply item search name in sales order form in item id field but it can't gives me item id related to that particular
item search name.I check in Base System.But it work on inventory Movent & Transfer.It also work in production .
But can't work in only sales order .Any configuration or setting to check for this problem.
